Further to our telecon (Savill/Hall), I understand that the FCO has no objection in principle to Hong Kong seeking representation at IOPC meetings. I suggest that a letter is forwarded to the IOPC Director along the lines of that attached. This could be submitted by you direct or I could sign the letter for transmission to the IOPC under cover of a letter from you stating that the UK has no objection to the request.
