Explanatory Memorandum

The purpose of this Bill is to enable the question of whether a

body has corporate status, in cases where the body was established in

a territory which is not recognized as a State by the Government of

the United Kingdom but which has laws applied by a settled court

system, to be determined as if such territory were a State recognized

by the Government of the United Kingdom.
