It is unnecessary to set a deadline for the

talks.

The British side has emphasised the time limit to the talks on the one hand and insisted on a holiday to delay the talks on the other. It is using the time factor to press ahead with its four unreasonable demands aimed at extending their influence

in the post-1997 SAR.

(On the Governor's remark that October is the time to review his last policy address) It is hoped the Governor will not make any more improper move.
