uphold and observe the Basic Law of
the

Special Administrative Region of the
People's Republic of China.
In SO doing, I uphold
the resumption of the exercise of sovereignty
by
the
People's Republic of China over Hong Kong as an inalienable
part thereof from 1 July 1997,
the established
and the
basic policies of the People's Republic of China regarding
Hong Kong referred to in the Preamble to the Basic Law of
Hong Kong Special Administrative Region
principle of "one country, two systems" and will refrain
from any activities aimed at undermining these policies and
the
principle.
I will dedicate myself to ensuring the long term
stability and prosperity of the Hong Kong
Kong Special
Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.
