i) 30.4% considered tackling public sector corruption should have higher priority (11.0% in 1990).

The findings will provide useful reference for the Commission to map out its community education strategies for 1994/95. One issue which will definitely be addressed is public confidence in the TCAC. It is for the Commission to show to the public that it will keep the corruption problem fully under control in the years ahead through effective law enforcement and a vigorous education and prevention programme.

ICAC 20th Anniversary and the "Towards A Brighter Hong Kong" Programme for 1993/94

ICAC's 20th anniversary which falls in February 1994 will be used a platform to mount a major, long-term campaign to reinforce public confidence in the Commission. A host of media programmes as well as central and district projects are planned, including :

A major exhibition on ICAC's 20 years of work and the way ahead. The exhibition will be held from 26 to 28. February at the New World Plaza. The Governor will be invited to officiate at a ceremony on the first day of the exhibition.

A regional seminar on international cooperation in anti-corruption law enforcement. The seminar will be held from 23 to 25 February; and
