SECRETARY OF STATE'S MEETING WITH JONATHAN DIMBLEBY:
9 MARCH 1993
A 1. I attach bull points for the Secretary of State's meeting
with Jonathan Dimbleby on Tuesday 9 March at 11.30 am.

Jonathan Dimbleby will be outlining a TV series he is making on Hong Kong for transmission after 1997. He will no doubt ask the Secretary of State how he sees the situation in Hong Kong at present. We have agreed that this is an off-the-record briefing rather than a formal interview for the programme.
B 3. He may raise again the question of filming a policy meeting.
The Secretary of State agreed that Mr Goodlad would cover this point when he sees Jonathan Dimbleby in due course.
4. The Governor will be in the UK from 5 April. He will be seeing the Secretary of State on 15 April.
