THE JARDINE FOUNDATION
Thank you for your letter of 27 January and for the copy of the Register compiled to mark the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Jardine Foundation.
We were not familiar with the work of the Jardine Foundation and it was impressive to see what has been achieved so far. I agree with you that the scheme will help to cement links between the UK and the home countries of the young scholars. This is an often intangible benefit but a vitally important one not least in the case of Hong Kong.
