3. Sir A Swire has been typically restrained in public, but
evidently remains uneasy. As part of continuing to show that we are keeping in touch with opinion in the business community, I
recommend that Mr Goodlad invite Sir Adrian for a quiet chat
over a drink or a meal.
This would also reinforce the message
that we take very seriously Swires' position, and appreciate the
risks involved for them.
