LUNCH AT SWIRES
I attach a copy
1. The Minister is due to attend the lunch for Peter Sutch which Sir Adrian Swire is hosting on 12 May. of the guest list, from which you will see that a number of captains of industry and investment will be present.
2. The Minister is not required to make a formal speech at the lunch. But he would find it very useful to have some briefing on contentious points likely to arise, eg progress on the airport, Chinese discrimination against British firms, etc. It would be helpful if this could reach this office in time for the Minister's box at 17:00 on 11 May.
