US Anti-trust Notification: Semi-Tech (Global) Co Ltd
Thank you for your letter of 14 May to Mr Gordon We are grateful for your prompt notification of the case and for the action that you have taken already.

Semi-Tech (Global) Co Ltd is a holding company, listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange, engaged in the distribution and manufacture of consumer electronics and durables.
Its core business is Singer Company N.V., the manufacturer and distributer of sewing machines, in which it holds a 51% interest. Singer Company N.V. is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. It operates in its own name in Europe, as well as through a subsidiary distribution company named Singer Europe. Singer Europe contributed 10% of
Semi-Tech's turnover of HK$9,371 million in 1992.
We are seeking information from our Washington Office and consultants on anti-trust actions and any background to this case that they can ascertain. Once we have this, we
would welcome further discussion with you on how best to act together on this matter if we have grounds to do so.
