I should be grateful if you would, in due course, inform me of the actual date of Hong Kong's accession to the three Conventions in question so that the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce may be advised of the date when they may start issuing A.T.A. carnets. It is appreciated that for all practical purposes the A.T.A. Convention will not have effect until three months after accession has taken place.
