In the context of our research on the theme "From Reform to Growth", my colleague Helmut Reisen has proposed a short-term study, to be carried out in 1994, on "China's Future Outlook and the Hong Kong Dollar". The text of this proposal, as drafted for the Development Centre's proposed Programme of work for 1994, is attached.
