other types of meetings: the meeting jointly organised in November 1991 with the Forum de la Haute Route which brought together Presidents and senior executives of a number of national and multinational companies interested in problems of economic interdependence at the world level to discuss 'The experience in matter of growth of the Dynamic Developing Economies'. The purpose of this meeting was to review government policies the economic and social factors which explain the high growth rates of the "East Asian Dragons" and to examine to what extent this model of development can be transferred to other regions of the world. Sixty high level representatives of the public and private sectors and political milieu in OECD and now member countries participated including Mr Nam, the former Korean Prime Minister; Mme Shirley Kuo, Minister of State of Taiwan and Professor Heilio Jaguaribe, Minister of Science and Technology of Brazil.

in February 1991 joint meeting of DC with the OECD Agricultural Directorate with the participation of the Danish Ministry of Agriculture to help prepare for the Ministerial level meeting of the World Food Council;

in March and April 1992, three meetings organised on 'the impact of export subsidies on the economies of developing countries'. One with the Development Assistance Committee, one with the Trade Committee and the third at Rome;
in November 1992, the meeting organised at Ottawa in collaboration with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) on 'Adjustment and Equity in Developing Countries';
