with regard to the renewal of MFN, the Governor aadd his impression was washington DC had not had enough timo to consider the issues yet. He thought the US Administration might work on" taking the initiative away from Mitchell and Pelosi, and resort to the use of all Executive Order.

The Governor aleu said that he felt Congressmen such as Rostenkowski and Hamilton were somewhat frustrated that the President had not been taking u fud their offers of taking the leadership on the MFN issuo but instead had allowed Mitchell and Peloci to run away with their bill.
