No. Tied aid is not available under internationally-agreed rules for such projects.
The Government intends to ensure that the Aid and Trade Provision (ATP), and ECGD cover, is targeted at the most promising of the poorer markets which have the
greatest growth potential such as China and Indonesia.
The Government continues to regard ATP as a valuable scheme, and has decided that ATP will continue at a
substantial level.
