Comments on outline programme for the Governor's visit to Australia: importance of the media arrangements.

I assume that the visit's objectives are or include:
(a) strengthening awareness among senior Australians of what the Hong Kong Government is seeking to achieve for the territory before and after 1997, and -
(b) advancing Hong Kong's regional trade interests.
On that basis, the outline programme Looks from here just right.
3. There will be much media interest. It seems to us clearly appropriate that the programme provides for several media sessions. We offer some specific suggestions:
