1. Thank your for tur. We should be grateful if you could let the Minister know that Mrs Anson Chan, the Chief Secretary, will meet him at the airport on his arrival. She would brief the Minister on the latest position on Hong Kong.
2. We are pleased to know that the Minister is content with the programme we sent. We should be grateful if you could inform the Minister that Baroness Dunn would wish to invited him to dinner on either Saturday or Sunday. She is at the moment out of Hong Kong and we are unable to obtain further details from her. We should however be grateful if you could let us know whether the Minister would wish to accept the invitation and whether he has any preference on the scale of the dinner and the guests to be invited.
3. The Governor is grateful for the invitation from the Minister of Lunch on 24 January and is very happy to accept.
