JONATHAN DIMBLEBY: HONG KONG
Problem
1.
How to respond to a request from Jonathan Dimbleby's film company to film Ministers arriving at and sitting down for the OPD (K) meeting on Thursday 1 July.
Recommendation
2. I recommend that we ask PS/No 10 for their approval for the Dimbleby team to film Ministers arriving at the meeting. HKD concur. The Governor maintains his strongly held view that they should not film the meeting but if OPD (K) committee members agree to the proposal, he would be content to go along with it.
