I have been informed by the Chinese Embassy in London that Mr Zhang Junsheng, Deputy Director of the New China News Agency in Hong Kong, would like to meet my delegation. I am keen to arrange this but our programme in Hong Kong is very full. I have Laken the liberty of suggesting to the Embassy that I ask you to invite Mr Zhang to join the delegation at breakfast or lunch on Thursday 12th August is this OK? No action required by you until a response is received from the Chinese. I attach a copy of my fax to the Embassy.
