I am writing to you in my capacity as Chairman of the UK Branch Executive Committee of the CPA. Your Hong Kong department will know that a delegation from the CPA UK Branch visited Hong Kong between 9th-13th August under the leadership of Tony Durant. I am enclosing a copy of the report he has written. I should like to draw your attention to the first and last paragraphs in which an early meeting with Chris Patten is requested.
