AMENDMENTS TO LETTERS PATENT AND ROYAL INSTRUCTIONS
1.
As expected, Hong Kong have come back to us with some concerns over the validity of the Hong Kong Letters Patent 1992 and the Hong Kong Additional Instructions 1992, gazetted on 18 and 19 February 1993. I attach a copy of Joseph Lai's letter and the memo from James Collins in AGC to which it refers.
2. I would be very grateful for advice on how we should respond to the points made be Mr Collins.
