I am writing to follow
up our recent
teleconversation.
Having discussed within the Branch and with the Director of Administration, the consensus is that we should proceed to seek Privy Council's approval on 27 October to split the Hong Kong Additional Instructions 1993 into two (viz. one on LegCo composition, the other on stand-in arrangements for Legco President), and consequentially to revoke the one already mado. I would therefore be most grateful if you would liaise with Ms. Brooks to this end on
