Thank you for your letter of todays date (Ref: CAB A 9/3). I have now received all the pages of the draft amendments.
I have forwarded these on to our legal adviser for her consideration and will let you have our comments as soon as possible.
I do not think that it will be possible to submit these amendments to the 10 March Privy Council Meeting as papers have to be with the Privy Council Office by 4 March. This would not give us enough time to finalise the amendments and submit them within the FCo. I therefore think that we should aim to submit the amendments to the 31 March meeting.
