Fifthly, our law at present prohibits a person who

is a member of any parliament, assembly or council, whether

central or local, of any place outside - Horg Kona

Committee on Legislative Council Elections recommended in

its report in July 1992 that the Administration should

consider lifting this restriction in respect of deputies of

Sino-British talks on the 1994-95 electoral arrangements,

the Chinese side have also proposed that this restriction

should be removed.
