Report on Questionnaire on Constitutional Reforms

Of the 40 Members of the Urban Council, 22 (55%) returned the questionnaire. They consisted of:

The results show Members opinions as follow:

Question 1 16 (72.7%) consider that the Patten Package breaches

Question 2

one or more of the following: the Joint Declaration,

the Basic Law, the agreements made in 1990. (136% disagreed and '3% were unsure)

18. (81·8%) disagree with removing all Appointed

Members from the Municipal Councils.

(13.6 % agreed with removing them and 4'6 % were unsure)
