52. Election to fill casual vacancy
Section 11 is amended -
(a)
(b)
(c)
in subsection (1), by repealing "subsection (2)" and
substituting "subsections (2) and (3)";
in subsection (2), by adding "in respect of a functional constituency" after "vacancy" where it
first appears; and
by adding
"(3) No election to fill a vacancy in
respect of the election committee constituency
under this section shall be held
(a)
within the 4 months preceding the
(b)
fourth anniversary of the latest
election held to elect all the
elected Members of the
Legislative Council in respect of
the election committee
constituency; or
in any other case, after the
publication in the Gazette of an
order of the Governor dissolving
the Legislative Council,
