1 Many thanks for your helpful reply to TUR. We have now heard that Mr Fung and colleagues will not be coming to London this month after all. It seems that the LegCo session on 28 April means that they would have to leave London on 27 April and so be unable to take up the slot we had managed to find for them in the Secretary of State's diary for that day the only available opportunity there was.

The fairly full programme which had been arranged for them, including calls on Mr GoodLad, Mr Cunningham, Mr Howell, Sir David Steel and Mr Renton among others, will have to be cancelled. We understand Mr Fung will be sending them all a personal Letter of explanation and apology.
It is possible that the ADPL will want to reinstate the visit Later, perhaps sometime in May.
