Reflection of Views through the Legislative Council, Urban Council, Regional Council and District Boards Members of the above-named councils and boards, can be "bridges" facilitating views of the grassroots to reach the governments. Through their controls with all walks of all councillors and District Board members life in the society, Lean help to collect and generalize the people's views. Such information, via the Hong Kong government, can then be channelled to British representative. Letting the representatives of both governments to be well-informed of our concerns helps to ensure our interests are not overlooked on the negotiation table.
iii) Consideration of all the Expressed Views and Proposals
for
Many local organisations and individuals have expressed their views and proposals on the constitutional arrangement of 1994 and 95. We propose that all such expressed opinions should be compiled
the reference and consideration of both governments. This will help people to recover their trust in both governments that our voice are heard and respected. Subsequently, it will definitely help guarantee that the agreement made will be acceptable to people in Hong Kong.
