Interpretation
Section 2 (1) of the Urban Council Ordinance (Cap. 101) is
amended
(a) by repealing the definition of "appointed member";
by repealing the definition of "elected member" and
substituting

elected to act as an elected member under
section 7; ";
by repealing the definition of "member" and
substituting
""member" means an elected member or a
representative member;".

Section 6 is repealed and the following substituted

Urban Council
The Council shall consist of

(a) 32 elected members elected in accordance with

section 7; and
one representative member from each District
Board in the Urban Council area."
