corporate voting in respect of functional constituencies is replaced by voting by
individuals;
the electoral divisions (which are treated
as functional constituencies) within the
Commercial functional constituency, the
Industrial functional constituency, the
Finance and Financial Services functional
constituency, the Medical and Health Care
functional constituency and the
Engineering, Architectural and Surveying and Planning functional constituency are
removed and replaced by functional
constituencies in their own right; and
9 new functional constituencies are added in respect of the following industrial and
commercial sectors
(A)
primary production, power and
construction;
(B)
textiles and garments;
(C)
manufacturing;
(D)
import and export;
(E) wholesale and retail;
(F)
hotels and catering;
(G) transport and communication;
(H) financing, insurance, real estate and
business services; and
(I) community, social and personal
services; and
