Section 18 is amended
(a) in paragraph (a)
(i) in subparagraph (i), by repealing "or" at
(ii)
(iii)
the end;
in subparagraph (ii), by adding "or" at the
end; and
by adding
"(iii)
is convicted on a date after his
election of an offence referred
to in section 19(1)(g) (ii) or
(iv) of the Electoral Provisions
Ordinance (Cap. 367);"; and
(b) by repealing paragraphs (b), (ga) and (gb).
Council to elect Chairman and Vice-Chairman
Section 20 (6A) is repealed.
22.
Quorum
Section 33 (1) is repealed and the following substituted
" (1)
The quorum at any meeting of the Council or of the
standing committee shall be one quarter of the total number of
members the Council comprises.".
