1. I attach a summary of this morning's proceedings in two parts: evidence from the FCO and evidence from the panel of lawyers.
2. The first part may not be of much interest to you as you were there yourself, and also my notes are abbreviated and incomplete as I was at times busy scribbling messages etc. However you might like to have the record for reference in case we need to make any major corrections to the draft transcript. My notes on the discussion with the panel of lawyers may be more useful and does, I believe, cover the essence of all that was said.
