Foreign Affairs Committee's Visit to Hong Kong
I attach for your onward submission to the FAC biographical notes on the people they will meet during their October visit (see Annex A). Please note that CP would not be able to meet the FAC at the cocktail reception on 18 October 80 his biographical notes have not been included. We have yet to confirm attendance from the HK Christian Council, the Council of HK Indian Association and the HK Journalist Association. We would let you have biographical notes on their representatives in due course.

At Annex B is a note on political parties in Hong Kong. The FAC may find it useful as background.

We are in the
process of contacting people whom the FAC will meet to firm up timing. The programme may need fine-tuning. I will let you have a finalised programe
