Will the work of the JLG be affected?
Regret lack of progress in recent months. Joint Declaration commits both Governments to closer co-operation in the JLG
in the second half of the transition period. That is what
we expect to see.
Sticking Points in Discussions with Chinese?

There remain only a few detailed points of disagreement,
which could and should be resolved quickly. I have set out
for the House the basis on which we were prepared to enter
talks. We still hope to do so: House will understand if I
