Call on the Prime Minister by
Mr. Allen Lee's Delegation
The Prime Minister is seeing Mr. Allen Lea and a
group from his Cooperative Resources Contre (CRC) on the
19|1 A1 } - The CRC has 17 members in the Legislative Council (Legco). The Prime Minister saw the leader of the other main grouping, the United Democrats of Hong
Kong, last summer.

are members of Tegco. Mr. Lee and Mrs Selina Chow were prominent members of the Executive Council (ExCo) until
the Governor removed all members of Legco from Exto in
October.

Shortly before the Governor's arrival in Hong Kony, the CRC Leyan moving towarda Peking and became critical of the Hong Kong Governant. Previously they had been regarded as supporters of the Government.

critical of the Government and have strongly opposed the Guvernor's constitutional proposals.
Mr. Lee's position on democratisation in Hong Kong has undergone a complete metamorphosis. Only two
years ago he was pressing hard for more democracy. NOW
he prizes convergence with China at all costs. The CRC
have voted against, the Hong Kong Government over the airport and in the preliminary debates on the constitutional proposals before Christmas. They
