(2) Where, under rules made under this section, costs are
ordered to be paid
(a)
by or to the Government, they shall be paid out of or
into the general revenue, as the case may be;
(b)
to the Government, they are recoverable as a civil
debt; and
(c)
they are recoverable by action of the person to whom the costs are ordered to be paid.

(3)
where a tribunal appointed under this Ordinance incurs expenses that are authorized under rules made under this section, the expenses shall be paid out of the general revenue.

Circumstances in which pension
may be granted
Section 7(1) (f) of the Pension Benefits (Judicial Officers) Ordinance (Cap. 401) is amended by repealing "retirement in the public interest or on his".
Explanatory Memorandum
The purpose of this Bill is to replace existing procedures in the Colonial Regulations for discipline of judicial officers (other than for judges of the Supreme Court and District Court who will continue to be subject to the procedures in the Letters Patent).
