To be eligible for a Commission or service in a sensitive trade in the BAP, children of members of the RHKP like Mr Broomfield will have to meet the residency requirements laid down in SIRO 7 or be eligible for a waiver of them. One of the factors that determine if an individual is eligible for a laiver is the question of whether his parents have strong toown connections, in CRAP nas always interpreted strong crown connections as UK grow service or diplomats who have been serving overseas with their service in the HKP is not Us crown service and this Supt Thorly of the Hong Kong High Comisafon in London
