In my letter to you of 19 November, I undertook to provide further details of the proposed HMOCS package of benefits. Although we have not yet finalised the texts of the schemes in
the package, I enclose a summary of the principal features of
these schemes and a note on the SFOS Amendment. You may wish
to circulate this to your Hong Kong members.
I would be grateful if members of the Association would
reserve any comments on the sterling pension safeguard scheme and the SPOS Amendment until they have had sight of the texts
which should be available towards the end of this month. At
that stage, I hope they will pass their comments to you so that the OSPA Committee can provide us with a consolidated set
of comments.
