As Michael Cartland is out of Hong Kong on a duty visit, I write to acknowledge receipt of your letter of 18 November 1993 about the proposed package for HMOCS officers in Hong Kong.
We note the arrangements envisaged for providing details of the technical aspects of the proposals, and the timing suggested for further consultations; in the case of the latter, it would be most convenient for us if consultations could be scheduled for week beginning 24 January 1994.
