Further to our telephone conversation of today I attach descriptions of the sterling pension safeguard scheme, the compensation scheme and the SPOS amendment. I propose submitting these to the Minister on Wednesday so that he can send them to the Association. I will send you an advance copy of his letter and the attachments so that you can pass them to the Association in advance of their AGM.
If you consider that Alan McDonald's description of the SPOS amendment is not already sufficiently clear, Alan would be happy to incorporate an example.
