LEGISLATIVE PROGRAMME 1994/95
1. I
I am writing to ask for your Minister's proposals for
legislation in the 1994/95 session. Please note that I need to
receive these by Wednesday 22 December at the latest to enable
us to keep the timetable set out in paragraph 3 below.

Proposals should be submitted on the forms at Annex A, in the case of bids for Government Bills, and at Annex B, in the
case of Private Members' Handout Bills. Please use a separate
form for each Bill and enclose a disk with the hard copy.
If you have no candidates in either category, please let me have a nil
return. Guidance on completing the forms is at Annex C. Please
note that the section on cost compliance for business should
ideally be cleared in advance with DTI's Deregulation Unit. At
the same time as you send your return to me, please send a copy
to the Treasury (for Bills where there are expenditure implications) and to any other Departments with a direct interest in the legislation you propose.
