I attach the latest figures from Mike Waters on the number of HMOCS officers likely to benefit from the Compensation Scheme. Unfortunately, the number is not as small as I had hoped, although it still represents a reduction of about 16% on the number used to produce the cost estimates attached to Alan McDonald's letter to me of 2 June.
I will send a copy of Mr Waters' letter and also Alan McDonald's cost estimates to the Treasury in advance of our meeting tomorrow.
