The Secretary of State is having a bilateral with the Chancellor (with Private Secretaries only present) on 23 June, mainly to discuss European policy. I should be grateful if you would provide a working brief, including a one page check list of Points to Make.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss two other subjects:
assets freezes (SCD to lead); and
Gibraltar Financial Services Commissioner (SED to lead).
The Secretary of State is unlikely to wish to raise Hong Kong pensions, but I would grateful if the brief could include a background note.
