Thank you for your letter of 27 July concerning your bid for a contract to provide an Operational Windshear Warning System (OWWS) for the new airport at Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong. I apologise for the delay in replying: it arrived while I was on holiday.
I am glad that you have meanwhile been working closely with the British Trade Commission in Hong Kong. My Department's Projects and Export Promotion Division also hopes to remain in touch with you. I would hope to support your bid, if appropriate, when I am next in Hong Kong in October. I should be grateful to be kept abreast of progress in the meantime.
