be necessary, depending on pressure on the Service worldwide, to redeploy resources within AUS commands, or from one AUS Command to another. To enable this to be done with the Icast damage to essential activities, the Board of Management would need to draw on the considered views of AUS commands.
Please therefore list in priority order (most expendable slots first), which slots on the UK Authorised Establishment (ADEST) of your post, department or command you could save through restructuring and/ or redeploying staff with least damage to your objectives. You should indicate in your covering letter or minute which tasks would have to be dropped to produce this saving. Posts or Departments w

Posts or Departments with under 5 UK- based slots need not answer this question; those with 5 to 10 should offer 1; those with 11 to 20 should offer 2; those with 21 to 30 should offer 3; those with 31 to 40 should offer 4; and those with 41 or more should.` offer 5. AUSS should offer contingency savings equivalent to 3% of the number of slots on their ADEST. Posts should include slots on the DW establishment only. You should not include ring-fenced slots (ie full- time entry clearance staff; technical security officers; overseas security officers; specialist communicators or information systems officers).
