I enclose our TMR return and our local budget estimate.
ADEST
I am sending by separate. confidential fax a corrected version of the ADEST report produced by RMD on 28 June 1993. I have amended the entry against my name to reflect more precisely the time I spend on commercial, management and other work. The two DS10s in the BTC share classified registry and mails work, including bag escort duties, and I have amended the ADEST to make this clearer. And finally I have removed Mr CE Garrett's name (he is a DS7 on the staff of the JLG and not a PPTO attached to this office). Mr JR Thurs field (SBTO), also included as BTC staff, and his colleague Mr T Newman (whose name should appear against the PPTO post and not Mr Garrett's) are FCO Procurement staff, outhoused and quite separate from
the BTC.
If the expenditure allocation report prepared by FMIS on 30 June 1993 and the separate 1992/93 provisional outturn were based, as I suspect they were, on the misleadingly inaccurate ADEST enclosed with the TMR papers, then costs will have to be
recalculated.
Local Budget
A copy of our bid is enclosed and is being copied separately to Local Budget Section RFD. The estimates are based on the assumption that the additional DS9 post for the CTU, the new DS5 commercial (projects officer) for the BTC, and the part-time LEII inward investment officer also for the BTC will be approved.
