The largest building in Macau remains the Bank of China Tower known locally as "Big Willie". The Airport, about which there was much official enthusiasm, seems bound to be intrusive to the currently charming and tranquil islands of Taipa and Collane, since the aircraft will fly in and out over the islands.
5. I was unable to meet our Honorary Consul, Philip Holberton. Officials claimed that he was ineligible for the protocol list for such occasions since he had yet to be furnished with his credentials. Where do we stand on this?
