HONG KONG STEERING COMMITTEE (HKSC) MEETING TUE 31 AUG 93

Our D/ACDS(0)/181/34 dated 1 Mar 93 (Minutes of HKSC Feb 93).
1. As indicated at Reference A above, the next meeting of the HKSC will be held on Tue 31 Aug 93, in the Main Conference Room, Ministry of Defence, Main Building. The meeting will commence at 1000 hours and it is anticipated that it will conclude by 1245 hours. Coffee will be available at the Main Conference Room from 0935 hours.
The confirmed Agenda for the meeting is enclosed and has already been cleared with HQBF HK.

of the HKSC who are shown at the Agenda as lead speakers, or who intend to speak formally on agenda items, are requested to submit speaking notes or a summary of their statements to the Secretary on or in advance of 31 Aug 93 as usual, in order that they may be taken fully into account in the
in the Minutes as appropriate. Due to the time required to provide adequate discussion of Agenda Items 7 and 8, lead speakers are requested to limit updates at Items 2, 3 and 4 to 5 minutes, and those at Item 6 to not more than 3 minutes.
4. Addressees are requested to confirm their attendance or representation at the HKSC to the Secretary by Tue 17 Aug 93 at latest. Nil returns are requested, but if no reply is received by 17 Aug 93 non-attendance and non-representation will be assumed. It would be appreciated if full details of rank/grade, name (including name known by), initials, decorations and appointment as appropriate
