101. Security Measures. The MOD will consider what security measures, if any, should be taken to conceal the mounting of this operation.

102. Security of Sensitive Message Traffic. Certain messages, particularly in the initial stages of the operation, are likely to contain sensitive national information, or to have political implications. Such messages must be safeguarded by the use of the appropriate national caveat, or the restrictive marking "UK COMMS ONLY", as appropriate. Instructions to originators on the use of these markings are contained in the following single-Service publications:
