G Day/G Hour. G day/G hour is the Date/Time Group of the signal from the Chief of the Defence Staff ordering implementation of the plan.

48. H and N hours. H hour is the time at which the first aircraft carrying reinforcements leaves a UK departure airfield. N hour is the time at which the first aircraft carrying reinforcements leaves Brunei.

51. Completion Times. Completion times may be calculated from G hour or H and N hours. Timings based on G hour would show how quickly the operation could be completed once the
